Rain rain go away…
Garden Fairies just LOVE working in the rain. Seriously, the reason why you can't see Katana's face right now is because she's SO HAPPY to be working in the rain, that she doesn't want to dazzle the camera lens with her wide beaming smile. Really. So. Happy. 😀

Along came a spider…
Either Leonie has an incredibly life-like tattoo on her elbow (new improved 3D ink technology!) or she has a rather large Nursery Web spider on her... (Should we tell her??)

The Plumage of a Garden Fairy
*clears throat and adapts David Attenborough voice* "...As we observe a Garden Fairy in her natural habitat, we gain an understanding of why these creatures favour such hot pink plumage. It is, of course, all the better for SAR teams to locate them, should they become lost in the wilderness..."

Search for the Secateurs
Nothing quite clips the wings of a garden fairy like the loss of a tool. Without her secateurs, a determined fairy may try using her teeth to tear through branches, but it's generally more prudent to dig through the garden waste, as all too often the misplaced tool can be found at the bottom of a woolsack. Usually, the very. Last. Woolsack.

A Garden Fairy at a social event
During social gatherings, some garden fairies grow horns as a means of establishing their eagerness to partake in festivities and 'have fun'. Or at least, that's what we THINK the horns mean...

Coffee Break
While Garden Fairies tend to take their slogan "go hard and go home" quite seriously, they can sometimes be lured into taking a well-earned break. Especially if offered a cup of coffee!

Coffee… Brake!
Driving off with a cup of coffee on the car roof - is that a sign that we shouldn't be working today? Or, is the fact that it remained on the roof, a sign that we should?

Operation: Pampus Removal!
Garden Fairies love a good challenge, which is just as well, given that this particular job involved the removal of a massive clump of pampus grass. Which happened to be home to a horde of bumblebees. As we discovered - after hacking into their nest! (Well, we did say we like a challenge, didn't we!)

Warning: Prolonged Exposure to Sun Can Cause Garden Fairies to Wilt
If you find a wilted fairy in the bottom of your garden, please shift her into the shade. Throwing a bucket of water over her may also be advisable - but only if you can run away SUPER FAST.

Should we tell her we can still see her?
At a glance, one might think this photo represents a Garden Fairy hard at work. In fact, this was Serena's costume for Halloween 2016. She was dressing up as 'a deciduous shrub in the midst of winter'.

A Gnome by any other name…
We're still not sure what to call our male fairies. We've thought about calling them Garden Gnomes, but we feel that might imply they do nothing but stand around all day? *scratches head*

pet-tree-stump
One person's garden waste is another one's treasure. While this Garden Fairy would have us believe she's rehoming the tree stump for her daughter's dinosaur garden, we're fairly certain she's going to name it Frederick and keep it as a pet. Because, she's kinda quirky like that.

Proven to ease the aches and pains of gardening!

We threw out all this garden waste, but made sure to first extract the fairies.

fairies in action3 not sure about this one tho!
Chilling out at a 'fairy gathering'.
